Harvard’s Will Cook announced as Co-Chair of PRCA Technology Group
The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) has appointed Harvard Director Will Cook CMPRCA as Co-Chair of its Technology group.
Cook currently leads strategic communication campaigns for some of the worlds most recognised brands such as Cisco, Samsung, and TalkTalk as well as innovative start-ups.
The news coincides with the Technology Group’s relaunch following a brief pause in activity. Cook will work alongside Group Co-Chair Katie de Cozar CMPRCA.
The Technology group is dedicated to supporting PRCA members working in the B2B and B2C technology sectors through sharing best practice, facilitating opportunities to network and helping to further improve the quality of the work delivered. The Group caters for technology brands, ranging in size from start-ups to global, and for all types of agencies.
Will Cook, Director, Harvard:
“The continued and evolving impact of technology on society and business brings great opportunities to rethink and enhance how we work, live and play. But it also brings challenges, including misinformation, privacy, and biases in the workforce. As communicators, there is a responsibility to drive dialogue on these issues, hold a mirror up to organisations and make sure the right action is taken for all stakeholders. All while balancing short-term pressures against long-term uncertainties of where innovation is going next.
“I’m excited and looking forward to working with others across the industry to challenge one another on these topics, drive development through knowledge sharing and ensure we don’t lose sight of the power of creativity in communication.”
