PRCA Introduces Digital Badges for Qualifications Graduates
The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) graduates will be awarded Digital Badges to showcase their credentials and professional expertise to employers and industry peers, in a move designed to make qualifications relevant for the digital era.
Each Digital Badge will feature detailed information on the candidate’s achievements, including a record of their education journey and the knowledge gained. Graduates can display Digital Badges across social media platforms, digital professional profiles, and email signatures. PRCA Graduates from as far back as 2017 are eligible to receive a Digital Badge.
The following nine digital badges are available with more to be offered soon.
- Intern Training Programme
- Foundation Certificate
- Online Certificate
- Advanced Certificate
- Diploma in PR and Communications Management
- Diploma in Integrated Communications Management
- Diploma in Public Affairs Management
- Diploma in Change Management and Communication
- Future Leaders Programme
PRCA Talent and Professional Development Director Souha Khairallah said:
“We know that professional qualifications and diplomas are vital to professionalising the PR industry and advancing its standing in the business world. Now, with the introduction of digital badges, practitioners will be able to demonstrate their achievements to peers more effectively and stand-out to potential employers.”
