Shape your PR sector in 2023 – Become a PRCA Group Chair/Committee member

The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) is inviting ambitious and driven PR practitioners to join one of its sector Groups in 2023 as a chair or committee member.

The 22 available leadership positions are open to PRCA members who are keen to leave their mark on their professional sector, drive professional standards and foster a community of best-practice and networking. If interested, please complete a quick survey on why you believe you’re the right person for the volunteer leadership position. What are we looking for in our Chairs?

• A commitment to the PRCA’s mission to drive professional and ethical standards.

• A willingness to devote the necessary time and effort.

• Strategic vision.

• Good, independent judgement.

• An ability to think creatively.

• An understanding and acceptance of the duties, responsibilities, and liabilities of the groups.

• An ability to work effectively as a member of a team.

Committee members must:

  • Be a PRCA member.
  • Be knowledgeable and experienced in their respective sector, either as a professional or volunteer.
  • Consider the best interests of the entire Group.
  • Be willing and able to give a significant amount of their time while on the committee.
