Join the PRCA as a Group Chair or Committee Member and lead the way in shaping the future of public relations.

The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) invites ambitious and driven PR practitioners to join one of its sector Groups in 2024 as a chair or committee member.

The available leadership positions are open to PRCA members who are keen to leave their mark on their professional sector, drive professional standards and foster a community of best practices and networking. If interested, please complete this three-minute survey on why you believe you’re the right person for the volunteer leadership position.

What are we looking for in our Chairs?

  • A commitment to the PRCA’s mission to drive professional and ethical standards
  • Active participation and communication with PRCA team to execute group objectives.
  • A willingness to devote the necessary time and effort.
  • Strategic vision.
  • Good, independent judgement.
  • An ability to think creatively.
  • An understanding and acceptance of the duties, responsibilities, and liabilities of the groups.
  • An ability to work effectively as a member of a team.

    Committee members must:

    • Be a PRCA member.
    • Be knowledgeable and experienced in their respective sector, either as a professional or volunteer.
    • Consider the best interests of the entire Group.
    • Be willing and able to give a significant amount of their time while on the committee.
