PACAC misses opportunity to improve lobbying, says PRCA

The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) – the professional body that represents the lobbying industry – is disappointed that proposals issued today by the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee (PACAC), won’t deliver transparency to members of the public, while adding to requirements placed on, and only on, consultant lobbyists.

SMEs in the PR industry are able to apply for Government funding for AI training – and PRCA’s AI training is eligible

The Government has launched a pilot programme providing part-funding in AI skills, and PRCA’s training is eligible for support. Under the Flexible AI Upskilling Fund pilot, SMEs in the Professional and Business Services sector (which includes PR) can, during May 2024, apply for a share of grant funding for up to 50% of the cost of training employees in AI skills.
